Course Summary
This 2-day hands-on workshop will explore and simplify the 4 major parts of Data Analytics, namely Data Collection, Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and Data Reporting. Data analytics has been very much associated with statisticians or technical personnel, especially on Big Data analytics whereby they typically require IOT-based (Internet-Of-Things based) installations or traffic data from website or social media for the analysis to be carried out. However, most employees are dealing with data that comes from various other sources such as physical records, manual data entry, surveys, and other non-digital sources of data, thus making data analytics highly needed in their daily tasks. Therefore, this simplified data analytics workshop will enable all personnel – regardless of their daily tasks and their departments’ work activities – to apply the skills and tools in data analytics onto their day-to-day jobs, allowing them to make effective data-driven decisions.
